Here you’ll find trigger warnings and tropes for all my books. Just a friendly reminder: they might give away a little bit of the story, so proceed with curiosity and caution!

Enchanted Bloodlines series

This is a completed five-book series. Here's what you can expect:

  • Character growth – The characters struggle, learn, and evolve throughout the series.
  • Payoff for early plot points – Some events and mysteries introduced in the first book unfold and resolve in later books, often in the second, third, or beyond. While each book has its own main plot, the series is interconnected, with certain elements becoming clearer as the story progresses.
  • Gradual world-building – There are no long-winded info dumps; instead, the world is revealed naturally over time, woven into character interactions and events.
  • A touch of Ouran Highschool Host Club – As a big fan of this cult anime, I’ve included a few small nods to it (in Book 1 and 2). However, the world, characters, and everything in these books are entirely my own creation.

About the World

Bride of the Kalisars is set in the same fantasy universe as Enchanted Bloodlines, a world loosely inspired by our own during the 1700s–1800s. This realm is primarily inhabited by people who call themselves demonkind - or simply, demons.

They are nocturnal by nature, uncomfortable in sunlight, and possess longer lifespans of up to 200 years. Demonkind are physically stronger than average humans, and many are born with unique supernatural abilities. In appearance, they resemble humans (who exist in a separate world accessible only via portals). While humans do not feature in Bride of the Kalisars, their connection to demonkind is a key part of the lore explored in the Enchanted Bloodlines series.

Some witches also migrated from the human world and live among demonkind.

That said, none of these worldbuilding elements are essential to the plot of Bride of the Kalisars. The only relevant detail is that individuals born with powers - such as enhanced strength, the ability to shift appearances, or the power to inflict pain or madness - are a normal part of society. These powers are unique to each person.

Those gifted are typically invited to train at Blackthorn Academy, the central setting of Enchanted Bloodlines.
